Welcoming the Stranger (Third Sunday)

What does faithfulness look like as we consider the massive global migration taking place right now? How are we to pray and think about immigration in our city and nation? Join us on this night for an open dialogue about immigration and the biblical Story. We have invited Mary Kaech (Phoenix Refugee Connections) and Leisa McDonald (East Valley Refugee Coalition) to speak to us concerning this topic and to challenge us to faithfully press into this as a church. We are also going to be able to hear the experience of a refugee on this night. Come to learn about this topic in light of the biblical Story!Sunday,

Team Meeting (Trunk or Treat )

We love our community and each year we get to put that love on display through an event called "Trunk or Treat." We open our campus up to our community by giving out candy from the decorated trunks of our cars, sharing a meal and snacks together, and playing games. This is a fun event on our campus with many opportunities to serve.

DONATE
You can give to this event by donating candy. Please drop bags of candy into the buckets marked in the lobby of the auditorium.

SERVE
This event wouldn't exist without the many people who serve in various capacities. If you are interested in serving this event, there are lots of ways to get involved (food, inflatables, games, candy delivery, etc.)

DECORATE YOUR TRUNK
One hallmark feature of this event is the decorated trunks each year. Park your car, decorate your trunk and hand out candy to kids! It's super easy! We can help you come up with decorating ideas too. If you would like to request to have a spot for this year's Trunk or Treat register here to reserve your space.

I want to sign up and serve!

Via Youth Serve Day

We have found that students want to extend God's peace to the least, the last and the lost. They just have a few reasons as to why they haven't.

- They like to hang out with friends
- They feel they don't have enough time
- They don't know how to get started

This fall break we are helping students overcome those obstacles, get involved in serving our city & community and have a great time with friends! We have a day filled with projects, food and fun! Register here and join the team!

Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right. Psalm 106:3

Via Youth: Corn Maze at Vertuccio Farms (6th-12th grade)

Students in 6th - 12th grade

Fall break is a great time for our Via Youth to get lost in a 7 acre corn maze at Vertuccio Farms! This year's theme and design is "#LovePup," bringing awareness to animals who need forever homes. Share in the fun, look for checkpoints along the way and support a great cause too!

We will meet at the church at 6:30pm and take the bus to Vertuccio Farms. The corn maze is not lit up at night so don't forget to bring your flashlight. We'll be stopping for dinner afterwards, so bring along some spending money for food. If you haven't completed a Minor Permission Form for this year, be sure to print it off and turn it in at the Info Center during Sunday services (you'll be prompted in your registration confirmation). CONSUME (Third Sunday)

Let’s have an honest talk about the stuff we “own.” How much of our identity is wrapped up in the things we have? Does our attachment to things cause us to view people differently? Are you tired of the endless race to have the best, biggest, nicest, faster, newest, ________? Do we possess things or do things possess us?
