"Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
Dear Via Family,
Happy Spring Break to all of our Mesa and Gilbert families! I love hearing all of the ways that our families at Via use this week to pour into their kids and celebrate their lives together. Every phase of a family carries joys and challenges as well as opportunities to allow the gospel of Jesus to shape thinking. May God be glorified in our homes!
As we head into this weekend, these things are good for you to know...
This Weekend - Lent
This powerful weekend is tied to Lent - a season of repentance and renewal. If you read John 4 this before attending a service you will be that much more impacted by our text. It is so great to see the profound work that Jesus is doing among us as a community of faith.
At 6pm this Sunday evening, we will gather together in the Chapel to sing songs as we reflect on various portions of Scripture that are related to Jesus’ time in the wilderness. He drew on the sustaining power of God’s Word to combat the enemy. This will be a very impactful evening, I encourage you to join us.
Last Sunday night at Merge there was a lot of buzz about our church family. I am very jazzed about the great amount of new folks at Via that are pressing into the life of Via. God is building His church!
Thank you for making it a joy to serve as Lead Pastor at Via. I love what I do and do what I love. There is no place that I would rather be than with you - my church family.
It’s all about Jesus,
