"Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.”
Exodus 16:4

Dear Via Family,

Was there a time on your life that you really sensed God shaping you? Were the circumstances in your life easy or hard? Most of the time, we say that the circumstances were difficult. It seems to be a pattern in our lives that God uses the really tough moments of our lives to form us most. This weekend, In Exodus, we are going to talk about the wilderness lessons that God’s people learned. They are basic to the human experience.

I really love our times gathered together to worship...

This Weekend

In preparation for our time of worship together, please read Exodus 15:22 - 17:7. Try to find some lessons that God wants the Israelites to learn.

Rummage Sale

Our annual rummage sale is next weekend, March 3-4.  This is a unique event where we collect gently used items to sell on our campus. The proceeds of this event go to help spread the Gospel across our city and the world!  Starting this Sunday, February 26 through Wednesday, March 1, please bring your gently used items including furniture, artwork, books, kitchen items, small appliances, clean clothes, sporting equipment, accessories, jewelry etc.  We are also in need of more volunteers (both ladies and men) to prepare baked goods to sell, and sort, organize, sell the donations. This is a great community outreach to serve as we reflect the hope of Christ.   So please take a step and join in.  For more details, click on the link below, let’s serve together!

Rummage Sale: Serving & Donating

You are invited to join us next Wednesday, March 1 at 12:00pm for a special 40 minute Ash Wednesday service to begin the Lent season. Lent is a season of repentance and renewal leading up to Good Friday remembrance and Easter Celebration. Allow this annual Christian rhythm to engage your life in the power of the Gospel. I am praying for God to do some profound work among us over the next few weeks.
