Dear Via Family,
Last Sunday afternoon, Susan and I enjoyed a meal with our Via Community. This is a newer rhythm in our life that we really enjoy. We had a meal together - we shared our lives, we laughed and played a game together. It is kids, parents, and empty nesters all serving one another and our neighborhoods together. This is just one of a number of rhythms that our group looks forward to. Let me encourage you to attend a Basecamp and learn what it is like to join a family of missionary servants in a Via Community.
My heart is longing to worship our great God together this weekend...
In preparation for our time of worship together, please read Exodus 13:17-15:21. Watch for the rhythms that God sets up for His people.
Third Sunday - B.L.E.S.S Rhythms
This Sunday evening, February 19 at 6pm in the Chapel, we are going to unpack these rhythms that are listed on the back of our weekly guide. It is fairly safe to say that many of us desire to grow in our faithfulness to Jesus and our witness to the good news of what he has done. More than grand gestures, faithfulness is more often doing small (and often overlooked) tasks well over a long period of time. Join us in a casual setting as we gather around tables and learn together. For more information click on the link below.
While I feel an urgency for us to move forward to what God has for us as a congregation, I am loving where we are right now. That sounds a bit conflicting, but it is so true. Please pray for your church family. Please serve. Please speak life and blessing when talking about Via. Generously invest your treasures into the vision that God has given us. You will never regret helping to build the work of God!
It’s all about Jesus,
