“Let your steadfast love come to me, O Lord, your salvation according to your promise”
Via Church Family,
Our staff met this week like every week. One of our practices is to review ministry over the last week. Day by day we recount the things done and accomplished. We tell stories of people being changed by God. We celebrate and laugh often and sometimes we shed tears. Some tears are raw emotion that we feel when we hear of hurts and pain – some tears are grateful joy seeing God do what only He can in people’s lives. Thank you for your love and commitment to Via – I love it greatly and I know God does too.
As we head into another exciting week of ministry – here a few things I need you to know:
This week's text is Psalm 119:41-48. The focus that we will have as we unpack this text will bless and challenge every one of us. It would be a great Sunday to invite a family member, co-worker, or friend to attend with you. I cannot wait!
CITY WATER DRIVE
Thank you to so many of you that brought cases of water as a donation to the homeless in our city. I love that this effort is in partnership with the City of Mesa – they depend on engaged congregations like Via to help meet this need.
If you are new to Via Church, or you have been around a while and feel like you are on the outside looking in, then Merge may help you! Merge is a set of three classes (101, 201 & 301) offered on a Sunday night every other month. These 2-hour classes are designed to help you merge into the life of Via Church. I invite you to join me at 101 on Sunday, September 11 at 5:30pm with registration starting at 5:00pm in our Cafe. Our kids and youth programs would love to have your kids while you attend Merge. Please register by clicking on the link below:
We have many new classes beginning in September! Check it out :
You are vital to Via Church accomplishing our mission. I appreciate you!
