“Let my cry come before you, O Lord; give me understanding according to your word!.”
Via Church Family,
Last Sunday, I challenged you to read through Psalm 119 at least one time this week in preparation for the conclusion of our sermon series. I have chosen to read it through once a day this week and wow, the power of God’s Word has been driven home to me. The Holy Spirit is working in us.
The campus is also buzzing this week in preparation for our annual Trunk or Treat event. What an incredible evening to welcome the community onto our campus and provide the opportunity for us to reflect the hope of Christ! Come out at 6pm this Saturday night and greet folks and engage them. It is always a great night of fun!
BASECAMP FOR VIA COMMUNITIES
A Via Community is a relatively small grouping of people that live near each other and are active in making the Kingdom of God tangible in each others lives. They are more concisely defined as a family of missionary servants. The entry into your Via Community happens through a two-session class called Basecamp. We want to prepare you to understand what a Via Community is and how to best integrate into one. Following your basecamp sessions, you will plug into your Via Community. Our next Basecamp is Sunday, November 27. Click the button below to register.
ORIENTATION TO FOSTER CARE
The state of Arizona has over 21,000 kids in the foster care system. As a church, we are committed to coming alongside the most vulnerable–which includes these kids. We invite you to join us for an orientation to find out more about how you can be involved in fostering or adopting. This event will introduce you to the fostering experience and also allow you to hear from a panel of people that have walked through the process. Our desire as a church is to help you in your journey if you are interested or want to learn more. . For more information and to register click the button below.
We have recently updated our online giving system and people love the simplicity of doing the initial setup. It is a super easy process and I invite you to discover the benefits of online giving by visiting the link below:
Thanks for making it a joy to be your pastor – I love you!
