A Screening of the Stephen McCaskell Film “Luther”
This year marks 500 years since the start of the Protestant Reformation–a significant moment not only in church history, but also in world history, particularly in the way this moment has so deeply shaped the Western world. On this night, we will be viewing the 2017 film “Luther: The Life and Legacy of the German Reformer”. This is a slightly different format for our Third Sundays, but in light of this significant year it is acutely appropriate.
This film is a remarkable work, sharing the story of Martin Luther and journeying through his life and work. There is a great value in biographical exposure in that we learn from the virtues and vices of those through history and we see how God used a weak vessel for something really great.
The film in its entirety is 1 hour and 30 minutes, so we will be using the whole time to watch this film together.
Parents, Sunday evenings are a great time to bring your kids and youth. We have something for birth thru High School every Sunday night!
