God has created us to be in relationship–with Him, with others and with creation itself. When we rebelled against God, these relationships were broken. God’s work of restoration through Jesus is to restore these relationships fully and finally, however, we live in the tension of that restoration work where our relationships still experience brokenness, pain and unmet expectations.
During this night we sought to develop some simple tools to help guide us toward health in our interpersonal relationships. If you are a struggling spouse, a frustrated parent, an upset co-worker, a bewildered boss, etc., this night will help you relate to those in your life–by understanding yourself and what you can and cannot control.
Special Guest: John D. Michael, Ph.D., LPC
We were pleased to have Dr. Michael with us for this night. With humor and depth, he taught about heart matters in our most important relationships.
