"So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.”
Dear Via Family,
This week I can’t stop thinking about how God has shaped me over the years by His Word and His Spirit. It has been such grace! I also can’t stop yearning for Him to do more shaping - I have a long way to go. It is also amazing to know that I am being shaped in community while He shapes others. Together we put His glory on display to our neighbors!
I am glad that you are a part of God’s good work at Via Church. We are on this journey together!
Here are some things that I need you to be aware of:
I encourage you to read our next portion of text before the weekend. Get ready for some strange stuff! Exodus 21-23 will puzzle you - but read it anyway! Together we will unpack the themes of these laws that God gave the Israelites when they were fresh out of slavery in Egypt.
Women’s Night Out
Ladies, you have a great opportunity to connect at Via’s upcoming Women’s Night Out. They will be celebrating women of all generations serving others in the season they are in. This night will be full of laughter, stories, dinner, and music. You will not want to miss this on Friday, May 12 at 6:30pm in the Kids Auditorium. Cost: $12.00 (by this Sunday). After May 7, tickets $18.00. Tickets are available at the Info Center, church office or click button below:
We welcome Paul Kazim as our guest speaker. He and his wife, Sandy are one of our partners in mission and have served many years in Mexico. They are familiar with the struggles that many face there and will be sharing their experience. Join us as we actively seek to grow in our love of the least, the last and the left out. Mark your calendar for Sunday, May 21 at 6pm in the Chapel.
Thank you for your faithfulness that makes our faith community flourish!
It’s all about Jesus,
