For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Dear Via Family,

Fall is in full swing. My thoughts and prayers are for our many families that are enjoying fall break with their kids. I love seeing moms and dad making the most of the moments and making this time feel special. Playing and resting is so important for busy families.

As we head into the weekend, here are a few things that I want to bring to your attention.

This Sunday

I encourage you to read Galatians 5:1-15 before Sunday - it will prepare your heart to hear this string message from Paul. It is going to be a great day of worship!

Anxiety, Stress, Worry & Jesus

One of these four are not like the other! This Sunday night we are having our Third Sunday event will be focusing on the topic of "Anxiety, Stress, Worry and Jesus". How does the rest Jesus provides confront our restless world and restless hearts? It is going to be at 6PM in the Chapel. Of course there are things for kids of all ages on Sunday nights!

Gather

Women, you won’t want to miss this night! A few times each year we host a women’s event on our campus to bless and encourage. All women are invited to enjoy a casual night of conversation, dessert & worship.

Trunk or Treat

I hope that you are planning on attending and maybe serving our annual Trunk or Treat this year. We love our community and each year we get to put that love on display with this event. We open our campus up to our community by giving out candy from the decorated trunks of our cars, sharing a meal and snacks together, and playing games. This is a fun event on our campus with many opportunities to serve. You can give to this event by donating candy. Please drop bags of candy into the buckets marked in the lobby of the auditorium.
