“Say this to the people of Israel, 'I am has sent me to you.”
Exodus 3:14

Dear Via Family,

I am so excited to see so many signs of health and growth at Via. There is a constant stream of people taking steps to move into the life of the church. Over 200 people are involved in Via Communities and more are going through basecamp to get in. You can get involved too, for more information about Via Communities and to attend basecamp this Sunday, 9AM in the Chapel, click here.  People are stepping up to serve and this week I was informed that a record number of first-time financial gifts have been made in recent months. Over 87 people/families have made their first gift ever to Via sometime in November, December, or January. Praise God for what he is doing in their hearts! This is a huge step for these folks!

I need you to know these crucial things as we head into the weekend...

This Sunday

We sensed God working powerfully among us as we started our Exodus series last week - I have Exodus Chapters 3 and 4 burning in my soul for this Sunday. You may want to read this portion in preparation for the sermon. I cannot wait!

Hope Summit

If you did not attend a Hope Summit in 2016, please attend this Sunday, January 22 at 6pm. God has put a huge and compelling vision and goal on our hearts for 2017-2018 for Via Church – and as you are a part of Via, I want you to hear about them. Everyone is invited, but this Hope Summit is especially for those that:

  • have returned to Via for the winter months.
  • were unable to attend a summit in 2016.
  • have questions about Hope Initiative and our future plans as a congregation.

This night will be inspiring - you will love it!  Thanks in advance for making this a high priority. Here is the link for more information:

Water Baptism

We will be celebrating on Sunday, January 29 as folks are baptized in our morning services. If you have never done this - do not put it off any longer! Please attend the information class this Sunday at 9AM in Room 2101 in our Auditorium Building. This class is essential to understand the ordinance of water baptism as well as prepare you for some much needed practical items. Here is the link for more information on water baptism and to register for the class:
