What is Converge?
Converge is a night where we will come together to discuss an important topic in light of the biblical story.
Loving my neighbor who doesn’t need Jesus
In 1963, Bob Dylan released the song Blowin’ in the Wind, in which was the line “the answer my friend is blowing in the wind, the answer is blowing in the wind.” As absolutes were beginning to be more and more relative and truth was fading into opinion and preference, Dylan’s words “the answer” rang loudly for all to hear.
Today, we live in the aftermath of this transition in our culture towards relative thinking concerning truth, which basically states, “I’m okay with my truth and you’re okay with your truth.” Does this thinking work? How do you know and love your neighbor who views life this way? Is Jesus the answer for your successful, happy, inspiring, deeply loving neighbor?
